Dr. Stephen A. Schrum - Collaborator Profile

Specialties & Comments:
Steve and I have been collaborators for many years. Steve is a prolific artist in several areas (lyrics, scripts, prose, poetry, graphics and film), and he has a knack for the obscure. There is always an intellectual undercurrent to his work. His ability to work in several media with different types of artists helps him communicate on different levels to find the best solutions to problems. Always an innovator when it comes to the Internet and technology, I've always admired his progressive use of computers.Steve's directing style is informal, but no-nonsense, and his trust in his personnel goes a long way to create a work that is truly greater than the sum of its parts. Steve's sense of humor and willingness to try new things are two of my favorite qualities. Whether as the leader of a project or as a team member, I look forward to working with Steve more, and consider him my primary long-distance collaborator.
