Susquehanna International Folk Dancers - I first met this group while working with The Bodó Band. They are great people. SIFD is very much a cross-roads of intercultural understanding in the area, and highly recommended. They meet every Sunday at the Milk Parlour Ballroom, 1996 Millville Rd. Bloomsburg. The Dialog Forum (State College) - Brings international acts like the Whirling Dervishes to audiences in the Stage College area. It's a bit of a drive, but worth it.

Bangladesh Student Organization - Bloomsburg University

Bengal Association of Bloomsburg Area - Community group of Bengal residents and visitors working to increase awareness of their presence in Central PA.

Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble (BTE) - a professional, regional theatre group that performs year-round. Missing a show is like missing part of what it means to be a Bloomsburg resident. No need to travel to NY or Philly for quality productions.

River Poets - Founded in May 1994 at the Bloomsburg Public Library, River Poets has attracted members and poets from Scranton to Selinsgrove and other undisclosed locations. Phillips Emporium has been the center of space, gatherings, and organizational support since nearly the beginning of River Poet time.

Unity Coalition of Schuylkill County - Another org with a mission to increase interculturalism. largely responsible for our tremendous following in Schuylkill County.
