International Folk Dancers - I
first met this group while working with The
Bodó
Band. They are great people. SIFD is very much a cross-roads
of intercultural understanding in the area, and highly recommended.

Dialog Forum (State College) - Brings international acts
like the Whirling Dervishes to audiences in the Stage College
area. It's a bit of a drive, but worth it.

River Poets - Founded in May 1994 at the Bloomsburg Public
Library, River Poets has attracted members and poets from Scranton
to Selinsgrove and other undisclosed locations. Phillips Emporium
has been the center of space, gatherings, and organizational
support since nearly the beginning of River Poet time.
