The Journey from the Center of the Page - Jeff Davis
Fall 2005 - Ever since Julia Cameron's The Artists Way,
I have been rather skeptical about writing books that touch
on the spiritual. I recall not caring for that book very
much.
This book was much different, and though I
am not a Yoga practitioner, when I saw this book in the
bargain bin, I figured I would give it a shot. At the time
of reading this book, I was going through an odd time with
my writing, wondering just what I wanted to say. I think
this book did help me center somewhat, though I must confess
that I did not take full advantage of the physical exercises
therein.
Those that do practice Yoga will find much
to consider here. Probably one of the most interesting things
is the writing in this book seems so effortless and colorful
that you can't help but be inspired. Jeff practices what
he preaches.
